Whilst working for a tier1 company Mike with his business partner Dave Barnes recognised the opportunity to launch Alpine Civil, a civil construction company focussed on quality and a best value approach to civil construction works.
Mike draws on 20 years of industry experience delivering local authority and state highway infrastructure projects in live operational environments. As a Director of Alpine Civil, he has led site safety, sequencing and delivery outcomes on complex, live projects, working closely with senior delivery and governance teams.
Mike’s operational background ensures he always provides hands-on site management for civil works, including management of traffic interfaces, heavy plant movements and public safety within constrained sites. At all times he is focussed on quality and safety compliance communicating with his onsite teams to ensure his values on quality, safety and the environment are the standard across Alpine Civil.
