Health & Safety at the Forefront of Everything we do

Alpine Civil is committed to maintaining safe and healthy workplace practices to ensure that our workforce or anyone in the vicinity of our workplace is not harmed due to our work activities.

Alpine Civil will

  • Provide our employees with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Personal Protective Clothing (PPC) appropriate to their needs.

  • Provide and maintain to the best of our ability a workplace that is without risks to health and safety.

  • Regularly review our health and safety systems as part of Alpine Civil’s goal of continuous improvement.

  • Maintain safe plant, tools, structures and systems of work.

  • Ensure the safe use, handling and storage of plant, structures and substances.

  • Provide adequate facilities for the welfare of our workers, sub-contractors and visitors.

  • Provide information, training, instruction, and supervision that is necessary to protect all persons from risks to their health and safety arising from work.

  • Monitor the health of workers and the conditions at the workplace for the purpose of preventing injury or illness.

  • Involve our employees in developing and reviewing any health and safety processes or activities that will benefit them.

  • Accurately record all incidents involving injury, illness, harm, damage, or near-miss in our workplace, and investigate them with the goal of preventing reoccurrence.

Our policy will always be to comply with the provisions of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, the Regulations made under that Act, and all appropriate and relevant Codes of Practice, Standards, and Guidelines that apply to our business.
