Drainage Foreman

Alpine Civil is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced and committed Drainage Foreman to lead site crews, deliver high-quality drainage works, and uphold the strong values that make us proud of what we deliver.
This is a site leadership role for someone who knows civil drainage inside out. If you lead by example, keep projects on track and are committed to delivering work to a high standard, we would like to hear from you.
Key responsibilities

Lead and supervise drainage teams across a range of 3-waters (potable-water, wastewater and stormwater) construction projects

Perform hands-on drainlaying and installation work in a range of pipe materials and pipe fittings including polyethylene, PVC, GRP, ductile iron and stainless steel to a high-quality standard

Ensure all works are completed in line with health and safety, quality, and compliance requirements

Coordinate daily tasks, materials, and equipment to be efficent and effective in undertaking the project on site.

Communicate effectively with project managers, site teams, subcontractors and the public, to ensure smooth project delivery

Provide guidance, mentoring, and day-to-day support to junior team members

Maintain efficient workflow, productivity, and a strong standard of workmanship on site
What you will bring to the team

A Level 4 Water Retic & Certified Drainlayer or currently working towards certification

Minimum 5 years civil drain laying experience

Experience with trenching, shoring, and shield systems

Proven ability to lead and support a team

A strong understanding of civil construction standards and site safety

Ability to read and interpret plans and levels
-
Good communication and organisational skills
-
Reliable, proactive, and hands‑on approach

A HDPE welding ticket, WTR endorsement and Class 2–4 driver license would be advantageous.
